Fantastic antique bird decoy! Carved 100% by hand with copper legs that meet feet carved into the base. This is an old one, assessed as 19th century (1800’s) by the auction house I acquired it from. It really has a great look and patina. I’m not sure if it’s a shore bird or an inland species. Condition is excellent save for its beak. There has been some loss on the beak over time. I believe this item came out of Massachusetts estate originally. It’s approximately 6” long and a touch over 3.5” tall. A nice example for the decoy or folk art collector. Ships ASAP! Thanks
