This is a Very Rare Tom Taber Woodcock Decoy commonly known as a Timberdoodle. It is one of Taber’s more rare carvings in Excellent Condition. It stands sturdy on its metal legs with Tom Taber and John Fairfield’s names stamped into the base. It is finished in earth tone browns, antique whites, beige and black with a clear finish that allows the beauty of the woodgrain to show through. The carving measures approximately 8″ high, by 10 1/2″ long, by 5″ wide. It is being sold as is with a fixed shipping cost of $28 to all bidders and will be securely packaged to arrive safe.
