An exceptional 16.5” x 10.5” Limoges fish or game platter! This platter has been hand painted and signed and dated by Mathis C White September 22, 1892. If there’s a scene of two duck hunters in a boat shooting at their game. An incredible subject matter rendered quite proficiently, this fine. serving piece is rendered a genuine piece of American Folk Art. Blue bill Hen working Decoy ready to be hunted over. Body made of found materials (foam bouy, pine board and Railroad spike) by long island decoy carver K. F. Bloomquist in 2022. Hand carved with knives, rasp and chisels. Painted in acrylics with glass eye in a basswood head. Body is epoxied and dowled to head and bottom board. Self righing in water. Weighs about 3 pounds.

A wall display housed in a barn wood box with duck call, display box of miniature shot gun shells and 38 special brass shells painted to look like shot gun shells. Each duck is weighted. This artwork was purchased from the artist in 1993 and is in excellent condition . It is a very unique display piece carved by a talented award winning carver. A treasure for any sportsman.
