Up for sale is a wonderful antique hand carved wooden black duck decoy sculpture.It is beautifully carved with nice detailing, painted by hand, and has acquired a nice patina from age.This wooden flat bottom decoy has a carved cork body and dome shaped metal eyes. It measures 14 inches long by 6 1/2 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide.There is apparent paint loss along with a loss by the neck. 12″ Vintage Cork Body Swiveling Head Duck Decoy
I’m no expert with this! I know this thing is old school and I dont know who made it. The head does swivel and some paint is still visable. It looks and seems like a great decoration for the woodland lodge or rustic room. It does have a crack that runs width wise on the top but it has not been repaired and it is in tact.
